Crafted in the heart of Los Altos de Jalisco, the Clase Azul Día de Muertos Joven “Colección Sabores” with Cups pays homage to Mexico’s most meaningful celebration—El Día de Muertos. This edition captures the soul of the holiday through its dedication to food, family, and memory, reflected in every detail from its origin to its presentation. The tequila is a true Single Estate expression, distilled from agaves grown solely on El Cerro del Viboreo, a mountain revered for its pristine agave.
This joven tequila is artfully created through a harmonious blend of spirits aged in select casks, including some previously holding American whiskey and others resting in lightly and medium-charred virgin American oak. The result is a vibrant yet refined profile inspired by the flavors traditionally offered to departed loved ones. The aroma opens with bright notes of candied orange peel, agave syrup, and toasted almond. On the palate, layers of citrus, clove, roasted coffee, and a soft floral touch of orange blossom unfold, finishing with a graceful hint of orange zest.
Designed for a slow, thoughtful sip in celebration, this limited edition comes presented in a commemorative box with two elegant tequila snifter glasses. At 40% ABV, it is best enjoyed neat, allowing the craftsmanship and cultural reverence in every drop to shine. A collector’s treasure and a heartfelt tribute brought together in one exquisite release.
