Clos de Los Siete Red Wine 2021 is a striking expression of Argentina’s Uco Valley, produced under the expert direction of Michel Rolland. This vintage celebrates two decades of winemaking rooted in high-altitude terroir and Bordeaux tradition, offering a blend dominated by Malbec with support from Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot. Grown at the base of the Andes, the sustainably farmed vineyards enjoy cool nights and warm days, giving the wine remarkable depth and vibrancy.
In the glass, it unveils a deep ruby hue and a bouquet of ripe blackberries, sweet tobacco, vanilla, and dark chocolate. The palate is layered yet balanced, opening with plush notes of black plum, licorice, and black tea, followed by hints of pepper and stony minerality. Smooth and medium-bodied, it offers polished tannins and fresh acidity, thanks in part to its 11-month aging in partially new French oak and gravity-fed, low-intervention vinification.
At 14.5% ABV, this dry, full-bodied red is structured yet elegant, making it ideal for both immediate enjoyment and cellaring. Whether paired with grilled meats, aged cheeses, or sipped on its own, Clos de Los Siete 2021 delivers a refined snapshot of New World winemaking shaped by Old World finesse.
