From the cool, mountainous terrain of Western Macedonia, Magoutes Rosé 2024 is crafted by the Diamantis-Papageorgiou Winery in the PGI Siatista appellation of Greece. This dry rosé is a rare expression, blending 80% Xinomavro with 20% Moschomavro—locally known as Muscovite—a nearly forgotten indigenous grape that Diamantis continues to champion. The result is a naturally made, organic, and vegan-friendly wine that reflects the purity of its high-altitude vineyards.
Delicate yet structured, the wine opens with crisp aromas of fresh strawberries and early white peach, balanced by a steely vein of acidity. On the palate, it’s vibrant and textured, finishing long and clean with a touch of sea salt and subtle mineral undertones. It captures both the elegance and tension of its unique terroir, showcasing the finesse of these native Greek varieties.
With an alcohol content of 12.5%, Magoutes Rosé 2024 is an ideal choice for warm afternoons, seaside meals, or light Mediterranean fare. Best served chilled, it thrives on simplicity—whether enjoyed on its own or alongside grilled vegetables, soft cheeses, or fresh seafood.
